The Hilo Skateplaza Coalition is working with the CoH and other interest groups to ensure the final design truly meets the expectations of Hilo's community. This includes ensuring that the cultural significance and history of the site is represented in a respectful way including the people with historical and geneological ties to the land are included in the project process.

The design process is ongoing and HSC will continue to ensure that all voices are heard.
